Basic Expeditionary Airman Skill Training (BEAST) Complex

Spanning approximately 15 acres, this 97,822 sf training facility project included the construction of Phase II of the Basic Expeditionary Airmen Skill Training facility with a headquarters building, an open-air training building, dining facility, warehouse, and an equipment storage building. All facilities were built to LEED standards and contain concrete foundations, floor slabs, standing seam metal roof structures, and force protection measures incorporated in accordance with DOD and USAF Force Protection Standards. It also included access roads, parking areas, utilities, grading and site work. All facilities contain rib mat concrete foundations (except for the Training Facility, which bears on drilled piers), standing seam metal roof structures, and force protection measures incorporated in accordance with DOD and USAF Force Protection Standards. Emerson earned an “Outstanding” CCASS report on this project as well as completed with no lost time incidents.
